At a recent family gathering, I heard Hannah's cousin say, "No hit, Hannah." I came over to see what was going on and I asked if she'd hit her cousin. She said, "No. I just tapped her."
Later that week, I asked Hannah not to spin with her Magna Doodle toy (hard plastic) in her hand because she could hit Matthew in the head with it. A few minutes later she was at it again and said, "I'm not spinning. I'm twirling." That's the kind of sass you get from a verbal 2-1/2-year old!
